Discover your passion for the sea and experience leisure and holidays on the water as a skipper! The official pleasure craft skipper licence – sea is your ticket to operate pleasure craft with more than 15 hp on maritime waterways. Whether sailing or motorboat, here you will acquire the nautical know-how.

Training content:

• Compact training: theory and practice in just a few days.
• Self-study: preparation with a learning app and sample exams.
• Practical work on the boat: navigation tasks and manoeuvring training.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• No professional prerequisites, ideal for beginners.
• A medical certificate is required.
• Applicants aged 18 and over: copy of driving licence or certificate of good conduct.
• Applicants under 18 years of age: declaration of consent from their legal guardian.

Appointments and examination:

• Individual appointments.
• Theory examination possible within one year at another examination board.

How to find the Fehmarn boat school:

• Head towards Meeschendorf / Staberdorf.
• Turn right at the entrance to Meeschendorf and follow the signs.
• At the Südstrand campsite, drive straight ahead after the barrier to the sea.
• Turn left onto the beach road and set course for maritime adventure!
