Are there any advantages to using public transportation?
From August 1, 2025, travel will be free in Burg and the surrounding area, as almost all bus routes in the Fehmarn-Burg fare zone will then be free of charge. This also applies to the transport of dogs and bicycles within the Fehmarn-Burg fare zone, provided that space allows. Passengers will not need a ticket or any other form of identification to use the bus service free of charge.
