Jasmund National Park
On the trail of the chalk cliffs
Jasmund National Park covers 3,003 hectares and is Germany's smallest nature park. Starting just outside the port town of Sassnitz, the national park offers a unique environment for hiking through the forests to the famous chalk cliffs or along the impressive chalk coast. Follow the well-maintained hiking trails to the Königsstuhl, one of the park's most striking features. A modern museum awaits you here with lots of details about nature conservation in the park, interesting facts about the island's nature and a breathtaking view from the chalk cliff.
