The Cigar and Local History Museum is located in one of the oldest buildings in the town of Schöneck and tells the colourful history of the house, which once served as a hospital, homeless shelter, soup kitchen, youth hostel and kindergarten. After extensive restoration work, it was reopened in July 2005 and now houses the local history museum and the museum café.
